A Spark of light, captured

Hi, I am Meagan

Your Story Starts Here

Photos are such an integral part of our lives. The prevalence of cell phone cameras have literally replaced the need to explain something in conversation to being able to show evidence of the real thing. We take pictures of everything- a sign with a contact number we want to hang on to, the back of the tv with the cords plugged in so we can ensure we get them back in the same spots, a delicious meal before we dig in. And there, in the chaos that is our camera roll, reside the pictures of our loved ones. Our babies' gummy smiles before they have teeth, the school music concert, or blowing out candles on a birthday cake. But what do we actually do with these photos? Sure, we post them to social media, but after that, what really happens to them? When our kids are parents, will they be able to show their kids what their first bike looked like? And yet, even though it could take some digging, if pressed, I bet you could find a picture of yours.

We have to preserve our memories or we lose them to the internet ether forever. Let's work together to create beautiful memories of your loved ones right now so that we don't lose the evidence of our existence.

My Philosophy

Photography makes the fleeting permanent

We have to capture these moments and hold on to them so we don't forget how far we've come.
