St. mary's FIrst Communion Fine ART portraits

It is my pleasure to offer Fine Art portrait sessions for St. Mary's Catholic Parish on May 16, 2026. Sessions will be offered from 12:30pm to 1:30pm and will last for 10 minutes each. Sessions are $30 and are not refundable. Please continue to read below for details of the sessions.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We will set up a studio backdrop in the Hofmann center where the students will wait for the ceremony to begin. Please come 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. Each session will last 10 minutes total. No refunds are available for late or no-show appointments.

INVESTMENT

Custom portraiture is a wonderful way to memorialize special moments, such as your child's first communion. The final product of the digital images and gallery represent many hours of commitment by the photography team. It is customary for families to spend approximately $250-$500 between the session cost, digital images, and prints of their child.

Please note that these sessions are for the communicant only, no family photos. If siblings are receiving first communion together, please sign up for 2 time slots in order to have photos of each communicant separately. If one time spot is selected for siblings, only photographs of the siblings together will be taken.

It is our goal to ensure we beautifully capture your special day and memorialize your experience for the years to come. You will receive an online, secure gallery within 8 weeks from the date of the event. All images will be provided in black and white and color.

Please note: Images will be provided in the gallery which you will access from your own computer. All monitors display slightly differently and colors as well as brightness vary from monitor to monitor. If you choose to book a session, please know that we cannot alter any prints once they are sent to the photo lab. It is the buyers's responsibility to check portrait alignment (you will choose this upon checkout) as some sizes of prints will not be able to include the full image. Photographer is not responsible for slight variations between the screen view of a photo and the printed image. These variations are normal and a result of backlit phone and computer screens and monitor variations.
